What’s On Tonight: ‘The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore’ Keeps It 100 For Its Final Episode

The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore (Comedy Central, 11:30 p.m.) – It came as a bit of a shock when Comedy Central announced the cancellation of Larry Wilmore’s late night talk show. Sure, it doesn’t get the best ratings – neither does The Daily Show if we’re being completely honest – but during a time when the late night TV landscape is filled with white guys doing cutesy viral videos, axing Wilmore, who brought a fresh, critical voice to current events, seems odd. Sadly, tonight is the show’s final episode and though Wimore has taken the news in stride – boozing it up on TV and giving us his unfiltered thoughts on the whole mess – we’ll keep it 100 and say, the series will be sorely missed.

2016 Summer Olympics Primetime: Track and field; women’s volleyball; women’s diving; men’s beach volleyball (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) — Ashton Eaton goes for back-to-back golds in the decathlon while Usain Bolt looks to nab a third straight 200m title and U.S. world champ Joe Kovacs competes in the shot put. More finals in the women’s 400m hurdles and javelin, men’s beach volleyball and women’s diving take place.

Big Brother (CBS, 8:00 p.m.) – Goodbye, unknown (as of now) houseguest. You probably won’t be missed.

Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out (MTV, 10:00 p.m.) – Waka Flocka stops by to compete in “Celebrity Death Match,” “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do,” “Remix” and the “Wildstyle” battle.

Queen of the South (USA, 10:00 p.m.) – Camila is pretty sure she’s done with Epifanio for good and gets back to running her business. Meanwhile, Teresa is busy trying to save a witness to the heist.

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll (FX, 10:00 p.m.) – “Feast’s” opening night is here, but Rehab and Ban are struggling with how to deal with Campbell’s attitude.
