A little more than a week ago, we put holler-hand to face and shouted, “Omar’s comin! Omar! Omar!” when it was announced that Michael Kenneth Williams (The Wire) would star in The Spoils Before Dying, Eric Jonrosh’s follow-up to the star-studded Spoils of Babylon for IFC. Now, we know who will be joining him and the list is as long as it is impressive and flush with Saturday Night Live alums.

Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Tim Meadows, and Chris Parnell will appear beside Williams and Will Ferrell (as Jonrosh), as will Haley Joel Osment, Michael Sheen, and Val Kilmer from the first film. That’s two Ghostbusters, a kid who sees dead people, Batman, a Lycan, and Andy F*cking Daly from Review — top that, Downton Abbey.

Here’s an updated synopsis from IFC:

Set in 1962 during the height of the Los Angeles jazz scene, The Spoils Before Dying follows Rock (Michael Kenneth Williams) as he becomes the prime suspect in the double murder of singer and his occasional lover Fresno Foxglove (Maya Rudolph) who is found dead in a car with another man. Panicked, Rock splits town for Mexico where he reunites with his one-time big band singer Delores O’Dell (Kristen Wiig). Determined to prove his innocence and avoid the electric chair, Rock and Delores head back to the U.S. on a dangerous journey for the elusive truth. All the while, Rock’s hard charging manager Alistair St. Barnaby (Haley Joel Osment) obliviously pressures Rock to record a mainstream jazz album.

The six-part Spoils Before Death mini-series is set to premiere this summer on IFC.
