The greatest news from this night of late night television has been the confirmation that Will Forte is rocking his Last Man On Earth beard, glorious and full. It also helps that I get to write about the show this week, so I’m extra excited. To promote, he stopped by Late Night to chat it up with old SNL running buddy Seth Meyers and things got semi-serious with some clearing of the air.
The friends sat across from each other, reached down deep inside of their emotions, and let their troubles pour out. All the ways they placed a knife in the other one’s back. It was something, especially the part where Forte half-apologized for having a threesome with Meyers’ parents (but couldn’t bring himself to stop). Things broke down when Meyers admitted that he returned Forte’s rental car with only a half a tank of gas, forcing the friend to blow up.
Luckily, the calming waters of sex with Seth’s parents managed to fix everything by the end. As it usually will do when you’re into that sort of thing. Good for them, you don’t want to leave things on such a dramatic note, especially on a late night comedy show.
