Ever heard of “hover hands”? It sounds like something from court documents, but it’s actually a technique used by some when taking pictures with others. To do this, you make like you’re going to wrap your arms and hands around the other person or persons, but you never touch them.
Graham Norton accused Will Smith of using “hover hands” when he came onto the show to promote Focus with costar Margot Robbie. The bit’s end result? A massive selfie with Norton, Smith, Robbie, the audience, and Smith’s “hover hands.” At least a selfie stick wasn’t involved.
