When a celebrity shows up on Sesame Street, things are usually delightful and pleasant. It’s typically something like, “Hey, let’s learn to count with Benedict Cumberbatch,” or, “We’re going to discover why art is great with Terry Crews.” However, there’s one resident of the neighborhood who can’t help but be a dick while teaching, and it’s Zach Galifianakis this time on the receiving end of the punishment.
In the above clip, Murray (who we last saw teaching Adam Scott the meaning the word “awful”) wants to recite a special version of the nursery rhyme “Jack Be Nimble” with the Birdman star, but he’s not moving to his liking. So, to get Zach really fleet of foot, he brings in a piranha to frighten him into jumping around. This sounds more like a Whiplash parody than Sesame Street, but you can’t argue with results.
