Funny or Die continues to pull out all the stops to get you registered at HealthCare.gov. First they let some politician guy push Obamacare on Between Two Ferns. Now they’ve landed arguably a bigger name, enlisting Adam Scott to reprise his Step Brothers role as the delightfully despicable Derek — heckler of songbirds, aficionado of Vanilla Ice, enthusiastic attendee of wine mixers, haver of washboard abs — to get people signed up before the March 31 deadline.
Catching up with Derek comes with the cameo-aided revelation that he is, in fact, close with Mark Cuban, Chris Daughtry, and Jeff Probst (but not Bobby Flay?). And in a character development that will shock absolutely no one, he stays in touch with his pals via Google Glass.
