FULL RECAP: The Walking Dead Mid-Season Premiere Discussion
While Carl spent most of tonight’s The Walking Dead angsting against his crippled father, he also provided one of the episode’s funnier moments. It’s no Pete Campbell falling down the stairs, but I laughed.
"Here’s The GIF Of Carl Hilariously Failing To Knock Down A Door From Tonight’s ‘The Walking Dead’"
I really hope Carl stumbles across a group of survivors that includes an acting coach soon.
Maybe they can cast this kid with Hayden Christensen in a spin off
Hershel “Walker” was the funniest thing about this episode.
+1. You win the sad Vikings fan demographic.
Hershel Walker Them dogs is hell don’t they Cuyler.
Oh. I forgot to watch The Walking Dead.
You missed nothing. Nothing.
The only worthwhile part was getting some Michonne backstory. The rest of the time I spent hating Carl.
I watched the last ten minutes of the 11 pm rerun. I regret that decision. Coral cannot act. Like at all.
I do like referring to him as Coral though.
Full disclosure I did enjoy watching Micchinone go full samurai on that mini-horde.
I dunno I liked this episode, It was interesting to see Carl kind of on his own a bit. I liked the scene when he went into that typical teen room with Xbox and got excited them depressed.
I agree, it seemed somewhat necessary to cover at least some of that between Carl and Rick. Having said, that, I still enjoyed the Michonne arc the best – when she started crying after finding Rick and Carl I just about started to also!
I had a letdown when Carl started the little turd routine again…
I loved the Michonne flashbacks, but I really wanted to see the other groups
Coral will be Coral.
True Detective aired the best fucking episode of a cop drama there has ever been.
That long take escape at the end shat all over anything Walking Dead as ever done.
Agreed. Tense as hell, and Woody made a decent getaway driver.
I liked last week’s episode better, but I think I can probably say that about pretty much anything that isn’t the 4th and 3rd to last episodes of Breaking Bad.
You’re dead on about the escape scene being better than anything WD has done.
Did he even try opening it with the door knob first? And yeah watching that after tonight’s True Detective was very difficult
Wife said the same thing. “Did he even try the knob first?”
This episode was very hard to watch. I know he’s just a kid, but good god Carl’s acting is horrendous, and injured/exhausted Rick’s accent is miserable.
So this episode just confirmed that Cor-al inherited his mom’s cuntiness.
My husband: He needs to slap that kid.
Mr: When your teenager hates you AND has a gun, that may end badly.
I knew it would be hard to make me long for the days of Governor flashbacks, yet here we are.
i lived vicariously through coral yelling things at rick. also, glad we got some michonne back story, figured she must have been a mom at some point after the whole judith breakdown thing
that last scene from True Detective got me pumped. tonights Walking Dead was a let down comparatively. they’re stretching shit out until it’s mind numbing. the bits with Michonne’s backstory were the only interesting parts. that and the confirmation that The Governor got shot in the head and is deader than Dillinger. before the break they just showed the Kitana hit and the Gunshot but no hit. tonight we say he’s pining for the fjords.
He is a giant douche.
It’s not about the way that the character is acting, it’s about how poorly the actor is portraying it.
That 70’s show did it better;
Woody Harrelson plays bitchy teenager MUCH better than Corrrrrrrrral.
Who the hell breaks down a door with an elbow..!?
Apparently not Coral.
“Can we take some of the action out of that scene and had some more dialogue that goes nowhere?”
