Pilots On Justin Bieber’s Plane Had To Wear Gas Masks For Some Strange Reason

So as a child you dreamed of being a pilot. You used to have your parents pick you up dozens of those WWII Styrofoam gliders (the ones that came in packages and had propellers), then you moved on to model airplanes, then you finally got your student training, then you did your formal training as an adult and completed all your courses and did the required 1,500 hours of flight practice. The day comes when you finally put on that uniform and the wings that you have dreamed about since you were a boy. “It’s here, it’s here. Finally, all my hard work has paid off!

You sit down in the cockpit, ready to begin your life as a respected aviation professional. Then a 19 year old Canadian, freshly freed from his Canadian captors, and his posse come on your plane and you need to put on a  gas mask because they’re all smoking $8,000 a week’s worth of ganja.

According to a strangely in-depth NBC News report, that’s exactly what happened, but it wasn’t a fun, rollicking, barely comprehensible, good time like Soul Plane, no sir. It was a plane TO HELL:

Justin Bieber and his father were “extremely abusive” to a flight attendant as their private jet flew from Canada to New Jersey on Friday, forcing her to take refuge in the cockpit, according to an official report obtained exclusively by NBC News.

Oh no, were they singing? There’s no refuge from that honey.

According to multiple law enforcement sources, the leased, luxurious Gulfstream IV on which the 19-year-old Canadian pop star, his father and an entourage of 10 friends traveled was so full of marijuana smoke that the pilots were forced to wear oxygen masks.

“The captain of the flight stated that he warned the passengers, including Bieber, on several occasions to stop smoking marijuana,” says the official report of the incident.

The pilots, despite a pressurized cabin, were forced to wear their oxygen masks during the flight, according to multiple sources, so that they wouldn’t risk inhaling marijuana and failing any subsequent drug test, which would put their licenses at risk.

When the plane landed in Teterboro, which is Spanish for Breast Boron, Biebs and crew were met by police, DEA, Customs and the always friendly Border Protection agents.

Officials decided to question Bieber separately from the other passengers, said the report, because “in past examinations, Bieber had become argumentative and abusive when together with his security team.”

I love the passive aggressive nature of this comment. Nice work NBC. For once.

After Bieber’s flight landed Friday, drug-sniffing dogs from Customs and Border Protection and the New York/New Jersey Port Authority Police Department sat down as they walked around the plane, meaning the dogs were alerting handlers to the possible presence of drugs. Authorities then boarded the jet, which multiple sources said reeked of marijuana. However, no unsmoked weed was found during the search.

Well that doesn’t mean anything. That’s a little biased, no? I mean there were no signs that he was stoned, or otherwise impaired (as in the Miami DUI) right?

Bieber had planned to spend Super Bowl weekend at New York City’s Four Seasons hotel, said the report, and depart Monday.

“Bieber … stated he would be watching the game from a private suite in METLIFE stadium, but he was unsure who owned the box he would be staying in. He stated that his assistant would probably know.”
