Two runners jogging on the Matcheetawin Trail in Alberta, Canada last week had a life-threatening encounter when a black bear aggressively tailed them for five minutes, about four kilometers into their run. Which bear is it that’s really dangerous? Is it the black or the brown? Dwight Schrute would be helpful in this situation.
Somehow the guy filming managed to keep an even hand throughout the entire encounter instead of doing what I would have been doing, which is violently evacuating my bowels. No thank you. I might get tripped by a pedestrian or hit by a car or mugged, but this is why I will take running in a city to this nature horsecrap every time.
