The Game of Thrones DVDs are always packed with extras, including deleted scenes and interviews with the cast, but there’s one important part of the show’s history that hasn’t been covered yet: Emilia Clarke’s funky chicken-robot dance. On last night’s Tonight Show, Clarke told Jimmy Fallon about how vulnerable she felt during her Game of Thrones audition. Now, mentioning an actress and the words “vulnerable” and “audition” usually goes one regrettable way, but for Clarke, it meant taking a joking-suggestion from one of the showrunners, to do a dance, and going with it. Or funky chicken-roboting with it, as it were.
Presumably, she wasn’t wearing her Dany wig yet, a point I mention only to say: #TeamDarkHairEmilia.
