An amateur porno videotaped at the Pyramids of Giza has a wave of outrage spreading across Egypt. The clip, uploaded to the site Porn Traveling, features a young Russian couple visiting the wonder of the world and then doing some dirty business in an area normally blocked off from tourists. From The Daily News:

The video, shot on a handheld camera, shows a woman walking around the iconic attraction, showing her breasts and briefly giving the cameraman oral sex on the Giza Necropolis grounds, with the pyramids and the Sphinx behind her.

At one point she turns and flashes the camera while walking with a group of tourists.

She also keeps complaining about one of the world’s seven wonders.

“This f—ing sucks. What is there to look at?” she says.

“It really sucks, even our resorts are better.”

Egyptian officials are obviously upset over the incident and attempting to get to the bottom of how it managed to happen. Early reports from the country indicate that the security on site may have taken a bribe in order to allow the couple inside the Necropolis area.

Egypt’s Antiquities Minister released a statement with the site Egyptian Streets, detailing what happened and the country’s new steps to avoid any similar acts in the future:

“A set of sexually explicit scenes was illegally filmed inside the Giza Necropolis by a foreign tourist while visiting the site,” confirmed Egypt’s Antiquities Minister Mamdouh al-Damati.

The Antiquities Minister added that the film, shot by Russians and uploaded with English subtitles nine months ago to three pornographic websites, has sparked a government investigation into the matter.

The Minister added that surveillance cameras and equipment would be installed at the Pyramids in the coming months to ensure that similar incidents, and other security concerns, are tackled.

The porno is being called an act that demeans ‘Egyptian civilization’ and is apparently being treated with extreme care. Some are calling for more than just security cameras at the site, claiming they will do little to actually curb similar acts.

Personally it seems like the damage has been done at this point and, judging from what I’ve read, there’s little the nation can do to stop this particular video from spreading.
