adidas Gets Ready For March Madness With New Lightweight Uniforms

To kick off this week’s conference basketball tournaments and leading into March Madness, adidas debuted new adiZero uniforms for Baylor, Cincinnati and Louisville. Inspired by the adidas Revolution 30 uniform technology used in the NBA, the adiZero uniforms continue the company’s move to go lighter by shaving off nearly 30 percent of the weight associated with on-court apparel. They also utilize a ClimaCool zone which moves heat and sweat away from the body to keep the jersey from gaining weight during heavy sweating. The unlined shorts provide a closer fit for compression shorts and utilize a four-way stretch that move with the body’s natural movement. Each adizero uni is done in colors chosen to match the intensity and impact during the madness that occurs each March.

Expect to see these during the Big East (Cincinnati and Louisville) and Big 12 (Baylor) Conference Tournaments this week. After that, expect to see me rocking one of each team’s shorts during the summer, when cool gear is a must. Subtle camo plus loud colors? Count me in.
