Andy Samberg Has Some Strong Words For The Seattle Seahawks In This Angry ‘Letterman’ Clip

Andy Samberg stopped by Letterman in a post-Golden Globes, pre-Super Bowl victory lap for Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but the best new sitcom on television was not his main concern.

Instead, Samberg spent some time talking about the Super Bowl and the NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks, the lovable scoundrels of the NFL. And he didn’t have much in the terms of kindness to throw their way. The language is not pleasant, you’ve been warned:

As far as I’m concerned, the Seattle Seahawks can get bent. The gloves are off, the gloves are off. They can go to h. As far as I’m concerned, the Seattle Seahawks can eat soup. I’m not holding anything back, I’m p.o’ed and they can chop wood.

Dave manages to calm him down by the end of the clip, but I’ll be damned if I could tell the difference between this and the ramblings of a cold-hearted murderer. A wild beast even!

He’s lucky I am a huge fan of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and feel that he’s really shown some career growth in the past year. I was about one second away from calling up the FCC and filing a complaint. My cats don’t need to hear language like that on television. Show a little class, pal.
