Good question! Up until now Ubisoft has been very sneaky about whether the footage they’ve been showing of Assassin’s Creed IV is current or next-gen. What can you expect to get if you shell out for the PS4 or Xbox One versions?
Well, Ubisoft has posted a new video detailing some of the bells and whistles you get with the next gen versions. Long story short, the environments and characters are mostly the same, but they’ll be surrounded by prettier lighting and weather effects and lots of realistically swaying bushes and undergrowth.
