When it’s your birthday, you want to be surrounded by the people that you love and that love you, right? That’s the ideal situation, but this Imgur poster found himself in a much different scenario, finding out on his birthday that his girlfriend had been repeatedly cheating on him with multiple men. Now, this would spell doom for pretty much any relationship, so this dude decided to end things on his own terms.
Traditionally, people are supposed to bring you cards and gifts on your birthday, but this guy decided to flip the script and offer up a card to his soon-to-be ex. While the cover seems innocuous enough, the inside is an emotional a-bomb, with their relationship and her pride being the casualties. Underneath her house key taped to the interior, it reads:
Now that you’re single, you don’t need to feel guilty about your sexually charged texts w/ Michael, going on dates w/ Jared, or getting drinks tomorrow with
HeidiDerek.
Daaaaaamn. It may seem a little extreme to humiliate her in such a public manner, but she certainly hasn’t given any thought to his feelings over the course of their relationship. Here’s hoping this guy has better luck in his next romance and a better birthday next year.
