Nathan Ripperger, a video producer, graphic designer and the father of four young boys living in Dubuque, IA, has created a series of illustrations which he features in his Etsy shop: Things I’ve Said to My Children. Being a parent is challenging, from what I’ve gathered from my procreating friends and family, so this is a great, non-murdery way of taking out your frustrations on your kids.
I’ve got to say, I’m also super impressed that this guy has four male children and the worst thing depicted in any of these is “Did you put honey on your brother’s head?” From my experience with little boys, I’m surprised most of them don’t say stuff like “Please don’t set fire to the couch” or “Did you summon the devil Lucifer?” That my friends, is excellent parenting.
