Chris Pratt and Anna Faris seem like the best parents in the whole wide world, and the internet never tires of the adventures the couple goes on with their adorable, tow-headed little son jack — whether it’s teaching him the Pledge of Allegiance, failing at potty training, or naming and later getting to meet a Penguin at the Seattle Zoo. Which is why we’re all swooning at this adorable video Pratt posted on Instagram this weekend, taken just before the Jurassic World star’s appearance at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards, where he took home the award for Best Action Performance.
Jack may not even be four years old yet, but it’s never too early to start teaching a kid to be your future partner in the Bassmasters Pro Am, as Pratt captions the video. But Jack doesn’t seem like he’s totally on his way to reeling in any 20 pound bass just yet, as he only succeeds in casting his line out maybe a few inches or so into the water before declaring, “That didn’t work!”
It’s okay, though, he’s got time…and basically a superhero for a dad, so we’re sure he’ll do just fine with a little age and practice.
