Okay, here’s the good news for Cleveland: Mike Brown isn’t the worst coach in basketball anymore. That’s Mike D’Antoni. The bad news? Literally everything else about the fact Cleveland just signed Brown to a reported five-year, $20 million contract to come back and coach his team to failure. Here’s a laundry list of why this sucks:
1. LeBron James isn’t coming back to get coached by Mike Brown, so that effectively ends all talks of The Return. And on top of that, Bron has a good reason now to not return. Because nobody blames him for not wanting to come back.
2. It’ll take about three games for Kyrie to realize Mike Brown is the second-worst coach in basketball and start fielding pitches for other teams. Namely the f*cking Lakers.
3. Mike Brown is getting paid millions by the Lakers and just got a $20 million contract to coach another team. America doesn’t deserve a good economy.
