Chip The Ripper – Gift Raps

As evidenced by the myriad of Tweets clogging Chip Tha Ripper’s fans’ Twitter feeds, Cleveland’s own has just welcomed a new son into the world. This gift from God is monumental news for Chip Worth and makes even more reason for his long-awaited present to fans, Gift Raps, to continue the unhindered celebration of life and rhymes. The Free-P (or mixtape or whatever one may consider it) gains sole production duty from one of the coolest kids on the block, Chuck Inglish, with the exception of the Chip-and Blended Baby-produced, “Plural.”

The 13 tracks elucidate all of the cool swagger of the SLAB Ent. representative to the tune of Inglish’s sparse, bass-happy instrumentals. And despite the project’s opening track, “The Entrance,” this is an all-Chip affair, a far cry removed from his collaborative-heavy initial mixtapes.

The only thing you need to bring in return is a listening ear and an open hard drive. This is Chip Tha Ripper’s gift–a gift of verbal intercourse. Props to Illroots and Karmaloop.
