UPDATE: The Duggars have released a family statement on their website saying that Josh Duggar has now entered a long-term treatment facility.
It was inevitable that someone claiming to have had inappropriate contact, sexual or otherwise, with Josh Duggar would eventually come forward, in the aftermath of his cheating scandal following the Ashley Madison hack. But the first woman to speak out did not actually meet Duggar through the cheating website, and rather is a 28-year-old stripper and porn star named Danica Dillon. Dillon claims that she had sexual contact with Duggar on two occasions, and that he actively pursued her, telling her that he was a fan of her films online.
Dillon says she first met Duggar when she was performing at the Gold Club in Philadelphia in March, and the second time a month later at Creekside Cabaret in Colmar, Penn. Dillon spoke with InTouch about Duggar and how things quickly got “creepy” after he approached her at the club and ““asked me how would he be able to spend the evening with me.”
Danica admits she “took the opportunity because Josh offered to gift [her] $1,500.” But soon after Josh arrived at her hotel room, things got rough.
“He was manhandling me, basically tossing me around like I was a rag doll,” Danica, whose real name is Ashley Lewis, and although the sex was consensual, “It was very traumatic. I’ve had rough sex before, but this was terrifying.”
Those are some pretty serious claims, and, if true, it’s possible that other women will also come forward with similar stories. The plot of this scandal will no doubt thicken before we’ve heard the end of it.
