Up until now most trailers and footage of Dying Light, the upcoming Mirror’s Edge-meets-Dead Rising game from the makers of Dead Island, has focused on fairly standard running around and zombie slaughter, but this latest trailer seems to be going after the Walking Dead/The Last of Us audience. Quotes by Jack London, serious voiceovers, somber piano music and the threat that somebody might chop up a kid with a machete. “Take use seriously!” the developers seem to scream.

I’m not sure if I believe Dying Light is going to be particularly moving or artsy, but it does look nicer ever time I see it and should provide some solid roof-hopping, zombie killing fun.
