Forget Episode VII, There’s A New ‘Manborg’ Trailer!

Manborg! The movie is a parody/loving tribute to low-budget sci-fi flicks of 80s and early 90s — a time when all an aspiring filmmaker needed was a green screen a dream.
The movie is the work of Astron-6, a group of guys who specialize in these kind of VHS era homages. Last year they put out Father’s Day, a very authentic tribute to bad 80s horror. They’re also from Winnipeg, which is where I’m from, so they must be great. We need somebody to pull for around here besides Bachman-Turner Overdrive and The Guess Who. No, not The Who, The Guess Who. Oh, never mind.

Manborg will apparently be hitting DVD sometime in January of 2013.
