Glenn Beck Says He’s Leaving The Republican Party, And He Totally, Probably Means It

Bad news, patriots: Glenn Beck is out. He’s had it with the Republicans in Congress, and he’s quitting. He made the official announcement on his radio show on Wednesday, expressing his disgust with the way the Republican establishment is using his precious Constitution like toilet paper. Should the GOP worry about this? With every fiber of their being. Listen to these grievances and witness the utter shame:

“I’ve made my decision — I’m out,” Beck said Wednesday on “The Glenn Beck Program,” his broadcast on TheBlaze.com. “I’m out of the Republican Party. I am not a Republican. I will not give a dime to the Republican Party. I’m out.” …

“All this stuff that they said and they ran and they said they were doing all of these great things and they were going to stand against ObamaCare and illegal immigration — they set us up,” Beck added. “They set us up. Enough is enough. They’re torpedoing the Constitution and they’re doing it knowingly.”

Those despicable jerks. Torpedoing poor Ted Cruz right into the 2016 presidential race. Obviously a vote of no faith. What gall.

Apparently, by voting 56 times to repeal Obamacare, the GOP is just not doing enough to defeat Obamacare. If that wasn’t bad enough, all voting to undo Obama’s executive order on immigration is just not enough evidence that the GOP is going anything to undo Obama’s executive order on immigration! How dare they just sit around, holding votes on things that always end up being vetoed. How dare they.

It gets worse, though, because now all of these mean, mean Republicans are being disrespectful of the true Constitutional warriors, Tea Party-friendly Senators like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee:

“They’re taking on people like Mike Lee and Ted Cruz and they’re torpedoing them,” Beck said. “And these guys are standing for the Constitution.”

As we have learned, there is only one kind of patriot in this country, and it’s the one who carries the most colorful signs in public. And the most guns. Can you even picture Mitch McConnell holding a sign? Psshhht, he has to put his signs on an easel, that traitor.

But this is it. No amount of gold is going to bring Glenn Beck back to the GOP, if we are to believe this heavy dose of fiery resolve:

“So I’m done with them,” he concluded. “Four years ago I was with them. Four years ago I said ‘work from the inside: Let’s change it. Let’s get new guys in there.’ I think it’s too late.”

Pour one out for Glenny, you guys. Until a fresh, new, scandal-free version of Aaron Schock comes around with a really cool sign and an American flag wrapped around his AK-47.
