This ad for The Mayhew Animal Home in the UK is sort of the counterpoint to those guilt mining ASPCA commercials that run every ten seconds here in the States. Where those commercials seem to be dead set on making you feel like you’ve been punched in the gut with sadness, this ad takes a different route to slam you right in the feels.
It is refreshing to watch an ad featuring a dog or any pet that doesn’t involve it being treated poorly or dying. Mayhew reveals why those ads make us feel like we’re chopping onions in a dusty room by showing that dogs are awesome and love you no matter what.
