This Sexy Australian PSA Promises A Horrible Death To Students Who Skip School

It starts normal enough. Sexy guy and girl go to a sexy beach in sexy Australia. They frolic in the sexy sand with their sexy friends. The sexy music is carefree, the sexy sun is turning their sexy skin into a sexy bronze. The sexy girl runs away from her sexy guy, and KABOOM. She’s blasted into a million pieces. What the sexy hell?

This brilliant ad, devised by Perth-based production company Henry & Aaron, was created for the Learn for Life Foundation, a WA based non-profit organisation promoting the importance of education.

Co-creator Henry Inglis said the work he did with business partner Aaron McCann was “about contradicting standard advertisements – it’s a bit of a f*ck you to advertising in general…It’s playing on those idealised commercials of people breaking free from their confines. We complete reverse that,” he said. (Via)

If you go to Learn for Life, though, it’s practically blank; the only working link leads back to Henry and Aaron’s website, and they’re well known Down Under for their “comedy shorts.” Australia is weird.
