If there were a ranking of animals that would be the most incredible to view in their natural habitat, humpback whales would have to be at the top of the list. Their sheer size and power would be enough to leave anyone awestruck. This YouTube video does a fine job of expressing the feelings that many of us would probably have witnessing these giants firsthand.
The clip, which was uploaded by a man named Brad Rich, was taken on a boat tour of Resurrection Bay near Seward, Alaska. This area is a popular viewing spot for whale-watching enthusiasts worldwide.
As Brad records, you can hear the enthusiasm in his voice as he waits to see some humpbacks. The water looks to be pretty still, and all that can be heard are the sounds of seagulls flying overhead. Within seconds, though, several large whales appear directly in front of the boat, seemingly out of nowhere. Upon seeing this, Brad squeals with joy. He’s almost left speechless, as the massive animals churn the waters ahead. The whole ordeal gets him so excited, in fact, he’s heard saying, “Oh my god, I just sh*t myself!”
I’m not gonna lie, I would probably need an extra pair of boxers after seeing something that incredible.
