Okay, so, apparently turning classic movies from the 80s and 90s into cruddy mobile games is now a full-blown trend. A while back we told you about the lousy-looking (yet officially licensed) Forrest Gump iPhone game, and now we have a game based on The Princess Bride on our hands.
Thankfully this title looks a little better than the Gump game. Basically The Princess Bride mobile game (which you can buy here if you must) boils the movie down to a series of four mini-games – kill shrieking eels, climb the Cliffs of Insanity, sword-fight Inigo Montoya and yes, wrestle Andre the Giant! Obviously there’s a lot more ground they could have covered, but it could be worse.
Here’s a trailer for the game, which is 60% movie footage, because “Hey, this reminds me of a movie I like!” is entirely why this game exists…
