The newest theatrical trailer for Iron Man 3 is out, and I’m so excited I almost dropped Gwyneth Paltrow’s ginger kitty. The video and some pictures and GIFs are below, but first, here’s an indication there might be an Iron Man 4, if Robert Downey Jr. is game.
Directed by Kiss Kiss Bang Bang‘s Shane Black, he recently discussed where he sees the future of the franchise headed with Premiere Magazine. “I have the feeling that the story that we have developed for Iron Man 3 actually concluded a trilogy, while [also] leaving the door open to a fourth,” Black said. “I had a lot of discussions on this subject: ‘Is that it is the last Iron Man for Robert?’ Something tells me that it will not be the case, and will be seen in a fourth, or fifth… But I can be a little excited.” [The Film Stage]
Do not toy with my emotions like this, Shane Black. First you give me Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer in the same movie, and then you hint at the possibility of two more Iron Man movies? Now I’ll have to forgive you for showing me Gwyneth Paltrow in a bra when I wasn’t mentally prepared for it.
