Any fan of Kristen Wiig on SNL will remember her skits where she’d have to act as if she knew what the hell was going on with whatever character she was playing. And usually she’d lose her sh*t during the skit.
Fallon was smart enough to bring that back by introducing Wiig as Michael Jordan, and it was wonderful. From the costume to the autographed cologne to the Cleveland Rockets, this was the Wiig we all know and love. Credit goes to Fallon for being a great foil here, too. Wiig’s actual interview as herself was pretty good, too, but I would have been happy with 15 minutes of the Jordan bit myself. Just saying.
