Kevin Durant Dunks On Jan Vesely, Bradley Beal Hits Game-Winner

Video games aren’t an interest of mine, but I’d imagine Kevin Durant is virtually unstoppable on NBA 2K13. Here’s a 24-year-old whose shot is as automatic as it is effortless and a guy becoming more and more of an all around player impacting every facet of the game. And while it isn’t Allen Iverson by any stretch, K.D.’s got quite the crossover to his arsenal these days.

Just 24 hours after having Toronto’s DeMar DeRozen performing pirouettes and other Olympic ice skating moves, Trevor Ariza met the same fate in K.D.’s homecoming game in D.C. Only this time, Jan Vesely caught the bad end of the sequence after deciding to jump with Kevin was a worthwhile idea.

Of course, Kevin’s 29 points (11 in the fourth) weren’t enough to discourage The Wiz Kids. Bradley Beal’s pump-fake jumper iced the game ensuring Washington walked away with a 101-99 win bringing the team to within 23 games of .500 at 5-28. Yes, if you’re keeping score at home, the Wizards have beaten Miami and now OKC at the Verizon Center. Through some formula they probably taught me in high school calculus, if the Wiz ever get home court advantage in the Finals…nevermind.
