‘Lie Witness News’ Asks People About Donald Trump’s Debate Performance

Jimmy Kimmel’s “Lie Witness News” asked people on the street about Donald Trump’s debate performance before the CNBC GOP debate actually happened. The questions and answers suggest a television event which was way more fun to watch than what actually happened.

If you didn’t know, “Lie Witness News” makes fools of people who try and pontificate on questions about fake events and scenarios, in this case it was about a debate that hadn’t actually happened yet. The first two answers in this edition see people give answers that you could make up just by reading a bunch of Trump headlines. By the third question, things start getting weird.

“What do you think about how he did pushups instead of a closing argument? Is that powerful or–?”

“That was horrible. That was over the top.” When the interviewer asks this lady how many she saw him do, she hilariously replies: “Maybe two, three.”

The questions get more absurd and obviously fake, from Donald Trump doing a backflip and saying “this is what I’m gonna do to Obamacare,” to him building a wall onstage or debuting bangs (the most unbelievable scenario if you ask me). I hope these people actually believed those things happened. And I wish Trump would watch this and get some ideas for the next debate.
