Literally The Dumbest College Girl Ever Cost Her Family $80,000 With A Facebook Brag

Dana Snay, a Boston College student and part-time Starbucks barista, cost her family an $80,000 settlement by bragging to her 1,200 Facebook friends about the outcome, which just happened to be confidential. OOPS. Her father, Patrick Snay, had won the settlement over an age discrimination lawsuit with the Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami when the school declined to renew his contract as headmaster. College girls are some of the worst people. From Yahoo Shine:

According to the Miami Herald, Patrick Snay, 69, was the headmaster at Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami for several years, but in 2010, the school didn’t renew his contract. Snay sued his former employer for age discrimination and won a settlement of $80,000 in November 2011. The agreement contained a standard confidentiality clause, prohibiting Snay or the school from talking about the case.

However, Snay’s daughter, Dana, now at Boston College and a part-time Starbucks barista, couldn’t resist bragging about the case on Facebook. “Mama and Papa Snay won the case against Gulliver,” she wrote. “Gulliver is now officially paying for my vacation to Europe this summer. SUCK IT.”

I think it’s probably safe to assume that Dana’s trip to Europe is officially cancelled, in addition to her cell phone, car insurance, and college education. If I were her parents, I would instead send her on a trip to the garbage can and by “trip” I mean “new home.” If it’s good enough for Oscar the Grouch…
