Let This Woman Explain Why Miss District Of Columbia Didn’t Belong In The Miss USA Pageant

A woman outed herself as being not too bright while watching the Miss USA Pageant Sunday night. Apparently, Deshauna Barber, who represented Washington, D.C., and ended up being crowned Miss USA, shouldn’t have even been in the running because the District of Columbia is a different country.

“Dat N**** Brant” recorded Mary Redpath laughing hysterically and telling him that Barber wasn’t eligible for the crown. “Miss District of Columbia shouldn’t be in the Miss USA pageant because District of Columbia isn’t in the United States. It’s a different country,” Mary confidently stated before being corrected by Brant. “Mary, Mary. District of Columbia is Washington, D.C.” Even with the correction, Mary remained adamant, laughing, “No, it’s not,” but quickly realized she may not be the sharpest tool in the shed.

With everyone grasping for Internet points and making complete fools of themselves for a spot on Ellen, I don’t know if I believe Mary to be that damn dense that she actually thought District of Columbia was part of another country. But whether she is as oblivious as she appears in that video, we’re all still doomed.
