Here’s New York Republican Michael Grimm Threatening To Throw A Reporter Off Balcony

It’s never a good idea to try and fight reporters: they have a platform to speak from and are usually more than happy to make your life miserable, especially when you’re a D-bag New York Republican like Congressman Michael Grimm.

Being interviewed by NY1, the reporter, Michael Scotto, tries to ask follow up questions in regards to Grimm’s move to Friday nights on NBC. No wait, the questions were about alleged campaign finance irregularities. Grimm didn’t take kindly to Mr. Journalism’s journalistic questions:

In the clip, you can kind of hear him threaten NBC’s Michael Scotto. In case you can’t make out the words, here’s a transcript from NY1:

“So Congressman Michael Grimm does not want to talk about some of the allegations concerning his campaign finances,” Scotto said before tossing back to the station. But as the camera continued to roll, Grimm walked back up to Scotto and began speaking to him in a low voice.

“What?” Scotto responded. “I just wanted to ask you…”

Grimm: “Let me be clear to you, you ever do that to me again I’ll throw you off this f—–g balcony.”

Scotto: “Why? I just wanted to ask you…”

Grimm: “If you ever do that to me again…”

Scotto: “Why? Why? It’s a valid question.”

[[cross talk]]

Grimm: “No, no, you’re not man enough, you’re not man enough. I’ll break you in half. Like a boy.”

Maybe, just maybe the next time you threaten someone’s life, make sure the blinking red button isn’t on? Just an idea. Hell man, at least Kanye had the wherewithal to not be caught on camera, and he’s freaking Kanye.

Personally I think Grimm deserves credit for not saying “Bro” even once. I did not see that coming.
