Watch This Man ‘Ninja Kick’ A Guy Who Tries To Steal His Car

We all know the first rule of not getting your car stolen: never leave your car unattended with the door unlocked. But I guess if you have this guy’s ninja skills, then you don’t need to follow that.

Mashable has posted security footage of a man pulling up in a sports car at a gas station in Darwin, Australia. He leaves the door open, and soon enough, somebody else gets in and tries to drive away. The car owner then runs back into the frame and then jumps through the open passenger window feet first in order to stop the would-be thief.

Even after falling out first, presumably due to the force of his “ninja kick,” the man gets up again and dives back into the car. Him actually getting control of the vehicle back from the thief happens offscreen, but the end of the security camera footage shows the burglar running away on foot.

This whole incident is pretty darn impressive. I can’t help but think that this all could’ve been avoided if this guy had just rolled up his window and locked his doors in the first place. Perhaps, though, the thief would’ve tried to break in anyway, and either way, the owner doesn’t deserve to have his car stolen. I’m also very happy to write a post about how he jumped through the open window of his own car to prevent it from being taken in the first place.
