You know, I really did not want to admit that Marvel was going to revive Jean Grey, but according to Entertainment Weekly, they are.
It makes sense, in a way. Avengers Vs. X-Men has been a padded and slapdash mini, so far. Part of that is the fact that Marvel has pretty much its entire creative staff working on the thing. Part of it is that it is way, way too long; it never should have been approved at twelve issues since you can condense the current six down to two or three with ease.
Either way, Marvel is realizing this thing is a slog and they need to do something to liven it up. So, what the hell, bring back Jean Grey. That won’t knock our death pool out of whack.
