Pinky Liberachi Gives His All With ‘Love Pink’ EP

Managing Hip-Hop Editor

I had a feeling Pinky Liberachi’s Love Pink EP was going to be a good thing, a project that could possibly end up being a sleeper for most. Coming out as a joint release by HoodStock Records and Joshton Peas’ Ain’t Shit Funny, it’s the first promised project from the Lexington crew as they begin their mission to take their Kentucky sound from coast to coast. But, the EP came on Valentine’s Day, which bled over into Grammy Monday, meaning it would have a hard time cutting through all the noise.

Thankfully, I was wrong. Pinky’s 10-song set and his multi-hyphen abilities were more than enough to make the project stick after one or two listens. Prior release tracks “New Exes” and the video for “OMW” created a frame of reference for the guitar-driven goodness the full EP contains and the tone continues at the outset with “Waiting” and “Coming Back.” Stream Love Pink and then download it here.
