A business owner in Portland, Ore. is going to great lengths to catch a culprit who has repeatedly defecated right next to his office building. KOIN 6 in Portland reports that the owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, left a small surveillance camera in a window of the building and captured the man – dubbed the ‘Portland Pooper’ – relieving himself beside the window, even carrying his own toilet paper in tow. He may be a big fan of public indecency, but he’s not above proper sanitation.
The Pooper has reportedly struck several times over the past month, leaving the owner with no other option but to take action. In addition to the camera, the owner has also posted flyers with surveillance photos asking to identify the serial soiler. If he’s caught, the man could face charges related to public indecency and ‘offensive littering,’ which is a pretty great way to define dropping your poops in public.
Also enjoyable is the fact that the man’s face has been blurred in the video because “police have not yet identified him as a suspect.” Portland must be a hotbed for copycat poopers.
