Detroit native Jerome Bettis is used to speaking the truth — example: “I was never a fast guy” — so it shouldn’t be surprising that has a pundit, he’s willing to say that that pundits are pretty useless.

“We are in the media and our opinions, they really don’t matter to be quite honest with you.”

Wouldn’t it be great if we could have Bettis around at all times just busting through walls at ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS, NBC and ABC like the human bowling ball he is just yelling at pundits when they say something stupid? Granted, Bristol is going to look like a piece of swiss cheese when he’s done, but at least we’d all feel better.

Just a thought. Or Bettis has just quietly become a nihilist and the universe is a cold and lonely place and we should just forget all this bullshit anyway, but no need to be dark so early in the evening. We have the Jets playing in an hour to remind us of that terrible truth.
