Ricky Gervais dropped by Conan ahead of his appearance in Muppets Most Wanted and delivered quite the entertaining interview. He spent a lot of time awkwardly touching and detailing the one role that has eluded him to this point in his career, a supervillain. An incredibly annoying one at that.
It’d be the perfect role for a guy people love to hate these days, not to mention he already prefers to dress in black all the time. Too bad his weakness is tickling, the second lamest weakness there could be.
The worst weakness? The original Green Lantern’s weakness against wood. You could almost include any Green Lantern here, but the original has to be the worst. He can block bullets and create anything within the limits of his imagination, but a f*cking 2×4 could end him.
Either way, Gervais is funny. So is Conan. Let’s all laugh at how they touch at each other like a couple of school girls and forget this descending into the nerd zone.
