The 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia are fast approaching, and the games are shaping up to be a complete disaster. Nothing about Sochi is ready to host a modern sporting event — certainly not the country’s stance on homosexuality.
It’s baffling that a country with such backward social policies would even want to host these games, because — as Conan O’Brien points out in the video above — many of the Russian translations for winter sports are super gay. (Prepare to never look at bobsledding the same way again.)
