A Sorority Sister Allegedly Punished Her Cheating Boyfriend With A Fiery Inferno

An Arizona State University sorority sister landed herself behind bars after allegedly setting her boyfriend’s condominium on fire. 21-year-old Claudia Rose Drinnan faces felony charges of arson, endangerment, and burglary.

Only last week, she was an Alpha Delta Pi sister with a hefty volunteer record and dreams of working for a non-profit org upon graduation. Claudia arrived to visit her boyfriend around 1:00 a.m. last Thursday evening. After realizing he wasn’t home, Claudia forced her way into the home by breaking a window. She then allegedly set fire to the bedroom where, presumably, he had done the deed with another girl.

The Tempe, Arizona Fox affliate station reports that three people were present in the condo when Claudia started the blaze. Nobody was injured and the fire didn’t spread past the errant boyfriend’s room. The boyfriend’s roommate, Kevan Walker, described Claudia’s bizarre behavior:

“I’ve only seen this stuff out of a movie, I’ve never seen or heard of a female setting her boyfriend or ex-boyfriend’s room on fire … Scariest part of the whole night is when I came outside, the flames were coming, she was standing at the entrance and I asked her what are you doing? She was just staring at the fire, she wasn’t looking at me, she wasn’t replying to my comments, she was staring at the fire, no body motion or anything, that was the scary part for me.”

Walker says he’s simply happy to be alive. Claudia was scheduled to graduate in 2016, but her plans may have derailed. Hell hath no fury, as they say.
