The Internet has generally helped to dilute meanings of words such as “epic,” “classic,” and “incredible,” but Lunice’s hour long mix for BBC 1xtra radio could arguably be deemed any of those. One half of production duo TNGHT, Lunice draws from a wide pool of songs, including 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky, Future, Rockie Fresh, and Jeezy, among a multitude of other unexpected choices. I love how he builds the energy throughout the entire set, leading up to his “Clique” remix at the 56:00 minute mark, before ending his set with a surprising choice.
