It seemed like only yesterday that Peter Parker was chilling with Ninja Turtles and defenestrating Emma Stone. Now Sony has simultaneously released three new clips from The Amazing Spider-Man. The first shows Gwen Stacy rushing to make an antidote for the Lizard’s serum and hiding from the Lizard. It’s nice to see the love interest in a superhero movie actually trying to do something useful instead of existing only to nag, express disappointment, and need saving.
The second and third clip shows Spider-Man’s contentious relationship with the police, specifically Gwen Stacy’s dad. And, yes, they couldn’t resist making a Godzilla joke regarding the Lizard. Oh, Hollywood. You make Godzilla jokes like I shoehorn yes this is dog references.
