This Lego First Person Shooter Isn’t Real But It Needs To Happen

Animator Andrew McMurray’s latest video “Lego: First Person Shooter” will make gamers wish Lego was remaking their favorite video games.

The video features Lego versions of Portal, Skyrim, Bioshock, and Counter Strike, and everything from the environments to the character design has been transformed to fit the Lego aesthetic. In Portal, the player hits the ground, and the head sees its arms and legs scatter across the floor. Undead skeletons in Skyrim fly apart when they are shot with arrows, and players can set them ablaze with a fiery Lego piece. Counter Strike‘s deaths are much less brutal, and even Bioshock isn’t as dark and creepy when re-imagined with Legos.

All the games look really amazing, but Lego Portal needs to happen. Lego Skyrim also has a lot of great possibilities, and it could utilize all of Lego’s Halloween monster characters, like those glow-in-the-dark ghosts.

This isn’t McMurray’s first time taking on Lego animation. Check out his previous video “LEGO Invasion!,” which has special appearances from Lego Spider-Man, Batman, Darth Maul, and Captain America:
