I’m beginning to think that maybe Tom Hanks feels guilty about unleashing Chet Haze upon the world or something, because he keeps doing stuff to endear himself to the internet, like pose for pics with random drunk bros in diners and use Emmy trophies for hood ornaments. Now this: Chris Hardwick of Nerdist fame posted the pic below to Reddit noting, “I sent Tom Hanks a 1934 Smith Corona typewriter with a typed invitation to come on my podcast. This was his response.”
So apparently Tom Hanks likes old stuff. Maybe we can get him to do an UPROXX commenter chat if I sent him my old Blackberry or something?
