About That Time A Tom Sizemore Video Made People Think Bill Clinton Had An Affair With Elizabeth Hurley

OK. So this is something that happened. Where to begin? Let’s start with Radar Online uncovering old video of a drug-addled Tom Sizemore recalling the time he was screening Saving Private Ryan at the White House for Bill Clinton and The President pulled him aside to ask a few questions about Elizabeth Hurley. Because of course. Just a day in the life of Tom Sizemore. As The Telegraph recounts:

When Sizemore confirmed that the couple had dated but were no longer an item, Clinton is said to have asked for Miss Hurley’s phone number.

In the recording, Sizemore claims the then-President told him: ‘Give it to me. You dumb m***********r, I’m the Commander-in-Chief of the United States of America.

“The buck stops here. Give me the damn number.”

Clinton then reportedly telephoned her, announced himself with the words, “Elizabeth, this is your Commander-in-Chief.”

He is alleged to have continued: “Listen Elizabeth, this is the President! I don’t have any time for this s***. I‘m keeping the world from nuclear war all the time. I’m sending a plane to pick you up.”

He is said to have despatched a private jet to whisk Miss Hurley from Los Angeles to Washington where she stayed for four days.

This bit — shockingly — gained some traction online and especially in the British tabloids. So much so that Elizabeth Hurley had to address the accusations on Twitter:

Which has all culminated in Sizemore doing a super uncomfortable interview with Huff Post Live confirming that these were in fact the ravings of a drug addict and not to be taken seriously.

I think we can all agree the takeaway from all this is that Radar Online is the worst. Where do we keep the hand sanitizer?
