Earlier this month muy impressive internet person, Alex Leo, made a comprehensive list of fictional Tracy Jordan movie posters after finding herself underwhelmed by NBC’s slideshow. I meant to write about them then, but something came up, probably thwarting a villain or attending a gala, and I didn’t revisit the subject after the 30 Rock premiere because it seemed too late.
But then this morning the Academy Award nominations were announced, and the first two things that came to mind when looking at the Best Picture nominees were A) the shortened ’99 NBA season and B) Tracy Jordan movie posters. You know, cause War Horse is the new Hard to Watch. So here we are. Made extra relevant by fainting spells at Sundance.
