Bethesda and ID are bringing Doom back to form with their latest installment in the legendary first person shooter. They’ve dropped the scares, dropped the numbers, and added in a ton of blood with a bad ass streak. And as someone who wasn’t excited about a new Doom before E3, I am fully on board following this showcase.
ID showed off their single player combat and the multiplayer aspects, including the insanely customizable Snapmap system that takes the creativity of the gaming community and makes a bit more user friendly. The single player is where it is at, though, with blood and kills that looks great on the modern tech. If it turns out this isn’t real gameplay footage, we should all be highly disappointed.
