Watch This Father And Son Adorably Narrate A Trapped Deer’s Adventures

What Neil deGrasse Tyson does for science-based television in the United States, Sir David Attenborough has done ten times over for global documentaries about nature. Not that one is better than the other. Rather, both men are simply doing mass entertainment’s good work for science. And they’re both really good at it.

At least they were before a father and son documented a trapped deer’s misadventures in their suburban backyard. YouTube user bennyfrank posted the above video, and it’s adorable:

Kid: Can it get out?

Dad: I don’t know! This is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen.

Kid: I thought you said there were three.

Dad: Oh my goodness!

Two things. First, this cannot possibly be the craziest thing this guy has ever seen. He’s a father, and like many media-savvy dads, he probably took Vines while his wife was in labor.

Secondly, how is this small child the voice of reason in this situation? He’s the one remaining calm and asking questions. Meanwhile, the dad’s utterances usually end with high pitched exclamations.
